I love to design.
That's right! I love wrapping my head around a challenge and finding creative solutions that not only accomplishes the task, but does it with style. Because, ultimately, I believe good ideas deserve good design.
My official creds: I graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2002 with an interdisciplanary focus on design, photography and community justice studies. I graduated from Randolph County Community College in 2010 with an Associates Degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. My abilities range from creating effective identity systems, to designing collateral, to website design and development.
My street creds: When I'm not designing, I'm playing music with Cakalak Thunder, a samba influenced drum corps I helped found in 2003. I can also be found in my vegetable garden, gathering heirloom tomatoes for the evening's meal. And, if you couldn't guess, I love walking and playing fetch with my 2 dogs, Mason and Sunday. Traveling is also top on my list for my more adventurous moments... be it a new bike route in town or backpacking in the mountains of my mothers' country, Chile.
